I just want to say a big thank you for all the help and support you have given to me and the family over the last few weeks following the sad loss of my husband. Dear Steven and team. Thank you so much for all your kindness and for making the most upsetting thing in our lives go so smoothly. We have heard from so many of our family and friends saying what a marvelous job you made of conducting Pete's funeral. Everyone has said how you made it seem so personal to you too, and you talked about his life so interestingly that they all learned something about him they hadn't known. We had to say goodbye to him, but you made it so gracious. Thank you.

As a family we care strongly about the environment, so when dad died we wanted a funeral with the minimum impact on our world. Dad wanted to be cremated, so we weren't sure if a cremation could be eco-friendly. We spoke to Steven Linde at Cycle of Life Funerals and he told us about English willow coffins which were from a sustainable source. He also advised about perhaps using flowers from Dad's garden rather than imported flowers.
We were delighted when he told us about Bio-urns or Tree-pods where you bury the cremated remains in a special urn which contains a tree seed. We decided to go for this option as a new tree would create new life and offset the effects of a cremation on the environment.
Thank you for providing an excellent service which not only met our requirements, but also gave us great comfort following Dad's passing.

Mum wanted an eco-friendly funeral when it was her time to go so we contacted Cycle of Life Funerals for advice. We were able to discuss the options available without being put under any pressure. We decided on a willow casket for mum, and on the day the funeral directors had decorated it with ivy and flowers. It looked so beautiful that I wish mum could have been here to see it herself- it was exactly what she would have wanted.
Family and friends were delighted with the funeral and the Celebration of Life service your celebrant conducted. Steven Linde was caring, considerate and very professional - he could not have done better. I would have no hesitation in recommending Cycle of Life Funerals - and they weren't expensive either.
